The National Population Commission, NPC has given utmost assurance that the 2023 Population and Housing Census (PHC) will meet international standard.

The current population of each countries across the globe by  United Nations  (UN), with China, India and U.S. making the 1st three, while Nigeria is ranked 7.  The world population is estimated at 20,515,284,153 people by 2040 .
