NATO membership is open to any other European state in a position to further the principles of this Treaty and to contribute to the security of the North Atlantic area.

North America is third largest continent on Earth covering an area of 24.7 million km² (9.5 million sq mi) and it comprises of 23 countries.

There are seven continents in the world and they include Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe and Australia with Asia making 60% of the earth dwellers and Africa having the highest countries.
